Udyam Registration is the government’s official registration for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) under the MSMED Act, 2006. It replaced the earlier Udyog Aadhaar registration. Process
Step 1: Visit the Udyam Registration portal (udyamregistration.gov.in)
Step 2: Enter Aadhaar number and verify via OTP
Step 3: Fill in business details – investment, turnover, and NIC code
Step 4: Submit the application (no documents to upload)
Step 5: Receive the Udyam Registration Certificate with a permanent URN
