INC-20A – Commencement of Business
Every company incorporated after November 2, 2018 must file a declaration in Form INC-20A within 180 days of incorporation, confirming that every subscriber has paid the value of shares agreed to be taken. Additionally, the company must have filed a verification of its registered office (INC-22). Failure to file INC-20A can lead to the company being struck off by ROC.

- Mandatory for all companies incorporated after 2 November 2018
- Must be filed within 180 days of incorporation
- Confirms subscribers have paid for shares agreed upon
- Failure to file: ₹50,000 penalty on company + ₹1,000/day on directors; risk of strike-off
