Director Resignation
A director may resign from the board by giving a written notice to the company. The company must file Form DIR-12 with the MCA within 30 days of receiving the resignation. The resigning director can also file Form DIR-11 to notify the ROC directly. The resignation is effective from the date specified in the notice or the date of board acceptance.

- Company files DIR-12 within 30 days of receiving resignation
- Director can independently file DIR-11 with MCA
- Cannot resign if it results in the company having fewer than minimum directors
